Client Benefits: Capacity Expansion for Concrete Demand
This project was driven by a need to increase capacity with a new Storage Facility warehouse. The challenge was constructing the building and support system while the plant was in full operation.
Burrow Global Scope of Supply:
- PEMB Design/Erection
Burrow global provided architectural and civil structural design along with installation of a pre-engineered building. This project expanded the Owner’s existing Interior Limestone Storage Facility by housing their existing overhead conveyor and eliminating all support structure to grade.
The expansion required a 153’ wide by 340’ long by 15’ low side eave height pre-engineered steel building which grew to 90’ at the peak. Unique precision requirements were met to fully erect and brace the new structure and support the existing conveyor system prior to removing the original support legs.
Project involved constructing this massive building and support system around fully operational conditions. The project was executed without incident.
