Mike Burrow is a mechanical engineer registered in Texas and Louisiana with over 40 years in the EPC industry. Mr. Burrow founded Burrow Global, LLC in the fall of 2009. His career highlights as top executive include:
- Acquisition of 31 EPC companies
- Founder in three EPC firms (all ranked in the top 1% of U.S. firms by growth)
- One company (Petrocon) ranked nationally in "Occupational Hazards Magazine" as one of Americas 17 Safest Companies
After the merger of IDS and Petrocon in December 2001, Burrow became the Chairman/CEO of the new public company, which was renamed ENGlobal Corporation. His achievements as CEO included:
- Ranked number one for two years and number two for two more years in the Zweig "Survey of the Top 100 Hot Firms"
- Grew per share value from 60 cents to $15.20 (23 times) in four years and 4 months
- Integrated 11 new business acquisitions
- Re-branded the company from numerous subsidiaries to a common name
- Added 12 new offices for a total of 18 offices in 14 cities
- Reduced overhead as a percentage of labor billings every quarter during his tenure
- Achieved over 22 million man-hours without a lost time incident
- Personally marketed over $250 million of new work (mostly long term alliances)

CFO, Burrow Global, LLC
Mark Vise currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Administration for Burrow Global, LLC and is a member of the Executive Committee.
Mark Vise consults with Company’s on their major change management initiatives, merger and acquisitions due diligence and integration, and supports them in an Interim CFO capacity. Mark was most recently Vice President, CFO, Americas for Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions serving a wide range of industries working in over 1,000 locations in over 100 countries. Vise has worked in various financial leadership positions in the services industries and the high-tech sector where he also established Aspen Technology Inc.’s Shared Services organization.
Mark has extensive experience in process improvement, turnaround management, with companies initiating major change programs as well as M&A, acquisition integration and corporate strategy. Vise began his career in public accounting with Ernst & Young and is a Certified Public Accountant. He holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration degree in accounting from Lamar University and an MBA from the University of Houston. Vise is a member of Financial Executive International, on the Governing Body of the Houston CFO Executive Summit and serves on the College of Business Board of Advisors at Lamar University.
Chief Strategic Officer, Burrow Global, LLC and Acting Director of Marketing & Business Development
Nigel James, a 1986 Chemical Engineering graduate of UT, currently serves as Chief Strategy Officer for Burrow Global LLC assisting the CEO with business initiatives and growth strategies and is a member of the Executive Committee. Nigel worked in the refinery industry for 8 years with Fina, including three years overseas in Grimsby England. He went into the Automation Consulting business in 1995 and founded his own firm, James Consulting Co. in 1999. That firm was bought and merged into Mangan Inc. in 2002 where he served as President of Mangan from 2005 – 2006. He continued as President of the Gulf Coast division from 2007-2012 when he retired from Mangan in November 2012.
He is the inventor/creator of the Safety Lifecycle software – ProSys DR (www.prosysdr.com) and has been very involved in developing best practices on Safety Lifecycle management for the process industry. Nigel has frequently written and presented technical papers and has been a featured speaker at numerous industry events.
Leroy W. Faulk, Jr.
PRESIDENT, BURROW GLOBAL CONSTRUCTION, LLC
Leroy Faulk currently serves as President of Burrow Global Construction, LLC, which covers the Company’s Buildings, I/E Construction and Special Projects business units and is also a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee.
Mr. Faulk has over 40 years of composite experience in the oil and gas EPC industries with local and national engineering and construction firms. He has been an owner/founder of his own companies and served in senior management positions with engineering, procurement, construction and fabrication firms with P&L responsibilities. Mr. Faulk’s experience includes corporate management and project management positions in the refinery, petrochemical, pipeline, commercial building, offshore drilling and production, and pulp and paper mill Industries. His experience in successful project management of major capital projects provides valuable project leadership in the execution, implementation, auditing and training for the Burrow Global companies.
PRESIDENT, BURROW GLOBAL SERVICES, LLC
John Lionberger is Burrow Global’s President of Burrow Global Services, LLC., which covers the company’s engineering, procurement and plant services business units. John graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Electrical Engineering from Bradley University, and now has over 27 years of experience in the industry.
Previous to this, he had a successful 17 year career at Burns & McDonnell as the Senior VP and General Manager of Houston Operations. John is an entrepreneur, an Eagle Scout, a Board Member of Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas, serves on the Bradley University College of Engineering Council, a past president of Houston Power Engineering Society, and served on the Greater Houston Partnership, CEO Roundtable.
PRESIDENT, PREPARATIONS FOR OPERATIONS (PFO) AND SAFETY
Gary Knight was appointed to serve as President of Preparation for Operations and Safety. Since early 2010, Knight has also served as President of Preparation for Operations. Formerly director of marketing, he is now a member of the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors of BG, LLC.
His 40 plus years of industry experience includes 13 years as President of PTS, where he handled the day-to-day operations, which included P&L responsibility. PTS provided training, pre-commissioning, commissioning, initial start-up and plant stabilization services in most industries in the U.S. and in 31 countries. He also served as Executive V. P. and Director of Bay Middle East International (BayMe), a joint venture company between PTS and Bay Ltd. BayMe was formed to provide "western" management skills and new technology to industries in the Middle East. BayMe’s expertise included plant maintenance, operations, fabrication and capital construction in both upstream and downstream operations.
Additionally, Knight has worldwide experience in plant operations, maintenance and capital projects. He has also directed the development and implementation of training programs in over 100 different operating areas within 10 operating facilities and managed all projects outside of the PTS corporate offices. His early career included Management and Supervisory positions with Westlake Petrochemicals, Occidental Chemicals Corporation, Cain Chemical Company and E I DuPont.
