Mike Burrow, P.E., CEO & Chairman Burrow Global, LLC
Burrow is a mechanical engineer registered in Texas and Louisiana and with over 40 years in the EPC industry. Mr. Burrow founded Burrow Global, LLC in the fall of 2009. His career highlights as top executive include: 1)Acquisition of 31 EPC companies; 2) Founder in three EPC firms (all ranked in the top 1% of U.S. firms by growth); 3) One company (Petrocon) ranked nationally in “Occupational Hazards Magazine” as one of “Americas 17 Safest Companies.
After the merger of IDS and Petrocon in December 2001, Burrow became the Chairman/CEO of the new public company which was re-named ENGlobal Corporation. His achievements as CEO included: 1) Ranked number one for two years and number two for two more years in the Zweig "Survey of the Top 100 Hot Firms"; 2) Grew per share value from 60 cents to $15.20 (23 times) in four years and 4 months; 3) Integrated 11 new business acquisitions; 4) Re-branded the company from numerous subsidiaries to a common name; 5) Added 12 new offices for a total of 18 offices in 14 cities; 6) Reduced overhead as a percentage of labor billings every quarter during his tenure; 7) Achieved over 22 million man-hours without a lost time incident; 8) Personally marketed over $250 million of new work (mostly long term alliances); and 9) Won numerous awards including: "#1 Most Revenue Growth" - 2003 Houston Chronicle's "Top 100 Public Companies"; Engineer of the Year-TSPE Sabine Chapter; and the ABC Eagle Award among others.
On Friday September 6, 2013, Burrow Global was rated #1 most revenue growth in the Houston Business Journal's Top 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies list. On May 1, 2014, Burrow was selected as a "finalist" for the Ernest and Young "Entrepreneur of the Year" award for the "Gulf Coast Region".
Bob Raiford, CFO, Treasurer, Burrow Global, LLC
Raiford came on board with BG, LLC as "interim" CFO to replace the former CFO and is now Executive Vice President and CFO. Bob has over 40 years of experience with oil and gas and EPC firms and joined the Company in late August 2013 to fill the vacated CFO position.
He is currently overseeing the accounting, finance, treasury, human resources and IT functions.
After his military service he worked in refining, petrochemical and oilfield manufacturing prior to joining Petrocon in 1979 where he served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer and as a director and Secretary of various Petrocon subsidiaries until its merger with Industrial Data Systems.
Bob most recently served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of ENGlobal Corporation from December 2001 through June of 2011. Bob has worked with Mike Burrow, CEO of Burrow Global in various positions from Procurement Manager to CFO for almost 40 years in prior companies. Bob holds a BA Degree in accounting and an MBA from Lamar University.
Gary Knight, President Burrow Global Construction, LLC
Knight was appointed to serve as President of BGC, LLC in August 2013. Since early 2010, Knight has also served as President of Preparation for Operations. He formerly was director of marketing and is now a member of the executive committee and advisor to the B.O.D. of BG, LLC.
His 40 plus years of industry experience includes 13 years as President of PTS, where he handled the day-to-day operations, which included P&L responsibility. PTS provided training, pre-commissioning, commissioning, initial start-up and plant stabilization services in most industries in the U.S. and in 31 countries. He also served as Executive V. P. and Director of Bay Middle East International (BayMe), a joint venture company between PTS and Bay Ltd. BayMe was formed to provide "western" management skills and new technology to industries in the Middle East. BayMe’s expertise included plant maintenance, operations, fabrication and capital construction in both upstream and downstream operations.
Additionally, Knight has worldwide experience in plant operations, maintenance and capital projects. He has also directed the development and implementation of training programs in over 100 different operating areas within 10 operating facilities and managed all projects outside of the PTS corporate offices. His early career included Management and Supervisory positions with Westlake Petrochemicals, Occidental Chemicals Corporation, Cain Chemical Company and E I DuPont.
Leroy W. Faulk, Jr., President Burrow Global Services, LLC
Faulk currently serves as President of Burrow Global Services, LLC, which covers the Company’s engineering, procurement and plant services business units and is also a member of the Board of Managers and the Executive Committee.
Mr. Faulk has over 40 years of composite experience in the oil and gas EPC industries with local and national engineering and construction firms. He has been an owner/founder of his own companies and served in senior management positions with engineering, procurement, construction and fabrication firms with P&L responsibilities. Mr. Faulk’s experience includes corporate management and project management positions in the refinery, petrochemical, pipeline, commercial building, offshore drilling and production, and pulp and paper mill Industries. His experience in successful project management of major capital projects provides valuable project leadership in the execution, implementation, auditing and training for the Burrow Global companies.
Nigel James, President, Burrow Global Automation
James, a 1998 Chemical Engineering graduate of UT, currently serves as President of BG’s Automation Division and is a member of the Executive Committee. The Automation Division has offices in Houston, Beaumont, Baton Rouge, and Tulsa and specializes in DCS migrations, SIS implementation, and midstream automation projects. Nigel worked in the refinery industry for 8 years with Fina, including three years overseas in Grimsby England. He went into the Automation Consulting business in 1995 and founded his own firm, James Consulting Co. in 1999. That firm was bought and merged into Mangan Inc. in 2002 where he served as President of Mangan from 2005 – 2006. He continued as President of the Gulf Coast division from 2007-2012 when he retired from Mangan in November 2012.
He is the inventor/creator of the Safety Lifecycle software – ProSys DR (www.prosysdr.com) and has been very involved in developing best practices on Safety Lifecycle management for the process industry. He has written and presented a number of technical papers and has been a featured speaker at numerous industry events.
John Meyer, Senior Vice President Marketing and Risk Management
As Senior Vice President Marketing and Risk Management, Meyer is responsible for marketing, sales, business development, contract review and licensing.
Mr. Meyer holds over twenty five years of broad based business experience in consulting, engineering, construction, marketing and research. Mr. Meyer has been involved in several successful startups of E&C businesses, including as a business owner, as well as holding operational and P&L responsibility for engineering and construction management businesses. Mr. Meyer has successful capital project execution experience from front end engineering through construction turnover of projects up to $550MM TIC in Refining, Petrochemical, Chemical, Renewables, Specialty Chemicals and Industrial Buildings.
Mr. Meyer’s broad based experience in project execution, business development and corporate operations supports his leadership in the role of Senior Vice President Marketing and Risk.
